The Altar and Rosary Society

The Altar and Rosary Society is made up of women in our Parish who are interested in helping to provide for the many needs of St. Louis Church and its members. Our records date back to January of 1944 and we have minutes from meetings dated in January of 1947. Since its inception, the Altar and Rosary Society has taken responsibility to care for God's House and provide for His children.

It takes many hands to meet the needs of a Parish the size of St. Louis. The spiritual peace gained from working in this ministry is greater than one can imagine.

The Altar and Rosary Society currently provides:

• Purchase and maintenance of altar linens, special banners, altar server robes, clergy vestments, and religious articles.
• Purchase of flowers for special services.
• Promotion of respect life activities, prayer of the Rosary, and devotion to Mary.
• Promotion of closer relationships among parishioners by providing many opportunities to be involved in Christian activities for women.
• Working directly with the Liturgy Committee, Arts and Environment Committee, and the Sacristans to help with any needs.

Membership

Annual Dues $10.00 Our annual Membership Drive Tea is in January and we welcome all women of the Parish. It is a good opportunity to meet new people and be involved in our special group. We have meetings the first Tuesday of each month, excluding summer months.
